About Me:

Born in Mississippi, raised in Alabama, I moved to Tennessee in 1995 to enroll in MTSU's Recording Industry program. After graduating in 1999, I worked as a recording engineer in studios in Austin, TX and New Orleans, LA. I grew weary of the lifestyle of the engineer after a short time and moved back to Tennessee to, um, reassess my career path.

With the benefit of having been raised by a pack of wild Commodore 64s, I decided to combine my background in computers with my lifelong dabbling in visual art and pursue graphic design, landing a job as an ad designer at Murfreesboro's Daily News Journal. I continued on this path and wound up at another newspaper, the Murfreesboro Sun, until I was laid off when the Sun hit hard times. Eventually, I found a job at another local newspaper, the Williamson County Review Appeal. I worked there as a designer for about a year, at which point the paper was bought by Gannett. I took the opportunity to transfer to the Tennessean when it arose. After another stint at the Tennessean's Williamson County newspaper, I quit and began to pursue freelance design full time.

I also enjoy smashing my fist against the strings of various guitars and keyboard instruments. Some of the fruits of this can be found here and here.
